Best Cedar Products is located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.  

Owner Terry 'Mills' Mercier operates the main mill and the product assembly plant outside of Escanaba (Hyde).  Terry's son Jason owns The Cedar Network; providing sales support and professional business services to Best Cedar Products.

Location:  Escanaba, Michigan

Terry is the owner and operator of Best Cedar Products with over 35 years of experience and connections in the local cedar market.  Previous ventures include Mercier Mills, which produced lumber, picnic tables, playhouses, doghouses, and various crafts prior to an unfortunate fire in the late 1980's.  Before going private for a second time, Terry was a highly sought after Sawyer and is well-known in the area.  Current and former customers include Menards, Wilderness Log Homes, Mead Paper, NY Specialty Lumber, LCG Sales Inc. , Spokane Wood Products, Ponderosa Nurseries, Holiday Gas, Plum Creek, and the Michigan Department of Parks & Recreation, to name a few. 

Terry is the proud Father of 4 boys - three of whom have either served or are still serving in the United States Military.  Each of Terry's sons has graduated with a college degree.

Jason Mercier

Location:  Buena Park, California

Following discharge from the Marine Corps in 1998, Jason went to work for NDS, a leading satellite technology firm.  Hired on as a Computer Engineer, in 2002 Jason was promoted to Systems Manager of the NDS U.S. Smart Card Operations Center.  In 2008 Jason was promoted to Project Manager of NDS U.S. Card Operations.  Jason launched CedarNetwork.com in early 2008 and is currently working on an MBA.

Married with two sons, Jason and his family reside in Buena Park, California.
